Ben Schwieterman
PASTOR-TEACHER
Prior to ministry, Ben obtained a bachelor’s degree from Wright State University, and worked in the health and fitness industry. Upon being called into ministry, Ben obtained a master’s degree in theological studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
The focal point of Ben's ministry is to feed Christ's flock through the expository preaching and teaching of the Bible. Ben ministers with the conviction that Scripture is “profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16). Through pulpit preaching and Bible teaching sessions called, Under the Fig Tree, Ben aims to follow God’s calling in equipping the church to be faithful to Christ and to have a profound Gospel witness in Licking County, Ohio, and around the world.
Ben and his wife, Abby, have been married since 2015, and have three children.

Kyle Springer
ADMINISTRATIVE PASTOR
After growing up as a pastors child in Ohio, Kyle joined the Marine Corps in 2006. He was stationed in Jacksonville, NC. He did one tour to Iraq and one in Europe. While he was in the military, he met through a friend, his wife. In 2009 they were married and in 2010 they moved back to Ohio. Kyle attended college and received an Associates in Natural Resources, since he was planning on becoming a Natural Resources Officer. Upon graduation he decided to pursue a different career and began his career in land surveying. Kyle was a land surveyor crew chief for 10 years.
During his time as a land surveyor, he knew he was not in the career the Lord wanted him in. In 2023 Kyle finally followed the Lord's calling, changed careers, and began serving in pastoral ministry at NCCC.
Kyle is continuing to learn the importance of maturing as a Christian and enjoys helping lead others in doing the same through small discipleship groups. Kyle is also a Sunday morning class leader for the youth and assists with worship and preaching, as needed.
