In 2 Peter 3:17-18, the Bible tells us, "You, therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen." As John MacArthur notes in his study bible, this passage is essentially informing us that "Pursuing Christian maturity and a deepening knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ will lead to doctrinal stability and prevent a Christian from going astray" (The MacArthur Study Bible).
With this in mind, every Sunday morning before the worship service, the adults join together in a Sunday Small Group, where there is much spirited discussion and loving guidance, and journey through various books of the Bible with the help of a biblical study guide. Our goal is to "Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18).
The men and women of the church also have the opportunity to enjoy a time of fellowship together with men's and women's prayer breakfasts and other activities as scheduled along the way. Keep up-to-date with such activities through our website, social media pages, emails, and the weekly Sunday morning bulletin.
